The Country opened up gradually to international market economy since 1979 and represents the 21st century’s socio-economic miracle. Being strong in China means being strong in a fast-changing world, albeit this Country’s numerous risk-factors, including significant differences in the manufacturing quality and consumers’ purchase power among different Provinces.

Hong Kong is with Macau a Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China and enjoys its own legal system that inherited the English common-law. A cosmopolitan and safe city with the rule of law, Hong Kong is constantly regarded by international studies, like the one published in 2010 by the Heritage Foundation, as the freest economy on earth.
